OUR PIANISTS
Following the death of Jean Bourne and the emigration to the south coast of Mary Cole both of whom played beautifully for Evensong and our special services for many years we have been most fortunate that Christine Lemon has come to our rescue not only playing for us but bringing with her Rachel, one of her music students to play. We are very grateful to them both. On Sunday 21 November at Evensong Rachel was formally introduced to the congregation as our pianist. To mark the occasion Christine and Rachel entertained us with two duets.
INGATESTONE & FRYERNING CHURCHES TOGETHER
On New Year's Eve there will be a churches together service at 6pm at St Edmunds & St Mary Parish Church Ingatestone, everyone welcome.
THE SPONSORED RIDE AND STRIDE
The sponsored cycle ride was on 11th September. Our thanks go to Paul and his family who rode and to Bryan who strode. Between them they raised £145 of which half goes to The Friends of Essex Churches and the other half to Buttsbury Church. Our thanks also go to the sponsors and those who were at the church to welcome and refresh the participants.
